mold and yeast allergies

I have been battling candida albicans for several years now, and with new and improved blood testing I have found out that the cause is mold and yeast. My question is, since mold is killed in dry climates or heat, when I heat cheese in an oven to make it crunchy, do I kill the mold in it. I am on a restrictive diet and this melted cheese treat satisfies my cravings for snack food.

mold and heat

Hi Marina,

Enough heat will destroy the mold. But that may not solve your problem.

Allergies are generally to specific parts of the mold, not necessarily to the whole living thing itself.

Probably the heat will not destroy the bits you are allergic too.

I hate to deliver the bad news to you.
