Look into HISTAMINE Intolerance. Some people with certain gene mutations cannot process histamine efficiently in the body, so it accumulates and causes inflammation, allergy type symptoms, triggers asthma, migraines and even anxiety. Some genes are DAO, HNMT, MTHFR, etc .. I cannot tolerate fermented foods due to this as well. Hope this helps.

Hi, HisMusicNMe! I suspect I am having the same problem with water kefir that you spoke of. Is it also true with you of kombucha and all other yeasty and alcoholic beverages? I am having trouble tracking down what is behind my symptoms, which could be caused by many different things, but I am beginning to suspect some kind of non-candida yeast. Thanks much!
Sara

It is always an awesome thing to hear of someone achieving great health benefits. I would like to add that those with “anything fermented” allergies proceed with caution. I myself find I’m conflicted when it comes to water kefir. I LOVE water kefir and can see the benefits such as an immediate smoothing of my skin’s texture. It’s beautiful! However…. I am one who is allergic to the fermented stuff (as well as a zillion other things) and I unfortunately get extremely Asthmatic when ingesting it. The more my water kefir ferments… The worse my reaction. It’s sad really and doesn’t make sense how my body can respond so positicely AND negatively at the same time.
So, I just wanted to point out that all may not be as lucky as some suggest. If you’re someone who ends up in E.R. due to anaphylaxis after ingesting fermented food, than I would not suggest the risk.

Traditionally fermented foods contain high amounts of probiotics which help to eliminate allergies after prolonged use. They also contain high levels of organic acids, enzymes, Vitaimins A,B Complex and C which all help in the digestion of foods and absorption of nutrients and they are wonderful detoxifiers which also help in eliminating heavy metals, toxins, and illness from the body!! The more fermented foods U EAT THE BETTER!!! i would know i had Type 2 Chrohns Disease and now after a year on probiotic dense foods (fermented foods) I no longer have to take medication to keep my ulcers under control because i dont have any! =]

white bread is a problem, whereas brown breads are ok, yogourt is not allowed, fermented south indian foods are not allowed.

What are the remedies / medications required to nullify the effect / permanently cure this allergy.
