You all should try wet-cupping or hijama. I had allergies for 7 years. This was the last thing I tried and the only thing that works.
I was getting congested everyday, specially in the morning, I woke up feeling unrested and weak. Always stuffy nose. I also had itching all over my body not knowing from where it came from. Some red lines or wiggly lines will appear on my back, arms legs, and feel hot with intense itching. You could tell it was something from the inside, not dryness of the skin. Long story shot, dermatologist said it was an idiopathic condition, uncertain of the reason and the end of it. Regular physician put in antihistamines and inhibitors my body could not tolerate, feeling drowsy and tired all the time. Homeopathy doctor gave antihistamines and ran an allergy that found I was allergic to protein, seashells fish, nuts and spices. Even when I stop eating those items still no improvement, the allergy specialist tested every single thing in my body, all was normal. Finally, my mom’s doctor suggested to cleanse my colon and then have a liver test.
I tried the colon cleansing that was recommended by a friend of mine. Treatment was for 30 days, I did 20 and all my symptoms disappeared
for at least 3 years, except congestion. I ended up having a deviated septum and had surgery which improved my breathing and congestions.
2 years ago, I started having itching again and discover I was allergic to gluten and red meat. I came across someone who I told about my allergies and recommended to have some treatment called hijama or wet cupping. I went for a treatment and I was fine immediately. I had some hand joint pain due to the acids in red meats and a sciatic nerve pain that was also cured at the end of the treatment. I have been medicine free, allergy free and able to eat all kinds of food, except wheat in pure form. I have not tried to eat it, thus I do not know if my body will take it or not. But I am able to eat everything else. I go for a treatment every three months but I don’t really need to. I do it to keep to detoxify my body and blood. I hope you all give it a try. Do little research on it, hijama is good for many ailments. It looks painful but it is well tolerated, do not let the images fool you. Best wishes to all.

But I also am getting a skin rash on my neck, which I suspect may be a food allergy. Sometimes it burns and/or itches. Sometimes it’s just there. It’s like an eczema or sometimes like hives. I don’t think it’s psoriasis, but it could be. When I was a teen-ager I had psoriasis on my scalp. I am suspecting grapes and/or wine right now. Just wondering if I’m on the right track.

Thanks for sharing Shawna.
If you don’t mind sharing some of the alternate names for palm oil, I’d be happy to write an article about it to help others.

In the past year I have recognized I have had (probably for many years)an allergy to palm oil, As I read the list of “symptoms” and realize I have suffered with 29 of the ones you listed ,(memory & confusion being the most painful) as well as fever blister type sores, and they have impacted every aspect of my life. I feel relief , sadness, and overwhelm. I’ve discovered palm oil is not only in the food I’ve been eating , but also the health and beauty products I’ve been using. It has so many different “names” it’s labeled under, many of which don’t have the word “palm” in them. Thank you for the information you are sharing.

A quick question. What would cause one to cough up phlegm after eating? Everything i eat makes me cough up phlegm. Cooked food with spices, cooked food without spices, But not as much without like it is with. Diary of all kinds. It’s just weird. What could be causing this. Please help..

Hi Lorraine,

What you describe could be an allergy, you might be on the right track. It may not be an allergy technically, but you may be reacting to something in your food. See for more ideas about working out if this is actually an allergy or intolerance, and how to find out which foods, if it is caused by foods, might be causing the problem.

Then last night I ate four bags of wotsits a few hours later I woke with the most horrendous headache , nausea ,sore throat and itching all over I took a antihistamine for this and went back to sleep this morning headache still there ,mildly but itching still want to rip skin off body . Do you think this could be an allergy ,I have been showing a number of different symptoms for years but this is the most violent reaction I have had.

The problem with allergy symptoms is that they are related to the body’s response to an allergy, not the cause of the allergy. Having said that, the symptoms you describe are more likely to be related to an air-borne allergen, like dust, mold, pollen etc. It is possible that it’s a food allergy as well. You will have to try to remove yourself from as many potential allergens as possible and see if you get better.
